Gathering fresh leaves and soft flower petals for his bed is something Aarlonn does each and every week. He has discovered the secret to a great night's sleep filled with wonderfully whimsical dreams. Of course, these special dreams come from the fact that these leaves and petals can only be found in the enchanted forest of Willow Hollow. Despite the hard work this creates for Aarlonn, he's found it's well worth his time and effort involved as he wakes each morning full of happiness and smiles!

Aarlonn's Description

Who knew the secret to such a good night’s sleep could be found in Willow Hollow’s enchanted forest! Now there’s a destination we humans would do almost anything to find!! But until then little Aarlonn will continue to travel thru the whimsical forest with his trusty wooden wheel barrow gathering plenty of those magical flowers and leaves that make his sleep so peaceful. Aarlonn is a stand alone, full sculpt, one-of-a-kind, clay creation from the enchanted forest of Willow Hollow. No molds are ever used during the creation of these enchanted forest creatures and none made of the original afterwards. After sculpting his head, hands and feet from polymer clay, they are baked and then painted with acrylic and oil paints, allowing for all of his many fine details to show to their best advantage! He is then wrapped in thinly rolled, colored clay creating his layered robes. After his final baking he is given a full head of graying hair, eyebrows and a rather long goatee. A few of his finer qualities are his blue glass eyes, open, smiling mouth and rather large elfkin nose (helps him to sniff out the best blossoms Willow Hollow has to offer!). Last but not least are the details in his hands and little bare feet to include fingernails and toenails.
An appropriately fashioned, 5 ½” by 4 ¼” story card telling of his “secret to a good night sleep”, is accompanied by a small, wooden card holder to display his tale for all to enjoy.
As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.
