OK, so he's not the cutest of the bunch but he's definitely got personality! Just look at that smile (might be construed as a bit mischievous no doubt!) and the twinkle in his eyes (again, possibly mischief in the making!). Little Emmitt is quite the happy-go-lucky fellow who flits thru the forest quicker than the eye can follow! And he does love to go visiting. Though he's light on his feet and fast as can be, he is always late everywhere he goes since he can't seem to pass a fellow elf without stopping for a 'little' chat!

Emmitt's Description

What can I say about Emmitt - he’s just adorable, don’t you think! While the entire piece measures approximately 6” tall, 11” long and 6 1/2” wide, little Emmitt himself is about 5 1/2” tall (though this does not include his rather “big hair”!). Emmitt is hand sculpted entirely from polymer clay and is, of course, a one-of-a-kind as no molds are ever used in the creation of Lil Darlin's. He has green glass eyes, a very “expressive” face with many wrinkles from laughing as well as living (he has had quite a long life afterall!), an open mouth showing his teeth, somewhat large, pointed ears and flowing wool fleece hair and goatee, along with little fingernails and toenails. His robes are created of thinly rolled sheets of polymer clay, draped and layered about his body, leaving his feet bare ... of course! After the initial firing of this little elf, his skin is given a rosy hue with oil paints followed by an overall wash of a darker, acrylic paint giving him a lifelike quality. Emmitt is permanently attached to his wooden base and driftwood background. Reindeer moss is liberally scattered around the piece and latex flowers and leaves are attached for a very inviting resting place for Emmitt. A fashionably designed, printed story card measuring 5 1/2” by 4 1/4” accompanies little Emmitt depicting his life in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow. A small, wooden card holder is also included allowing you to place his tale next to Emmitt where all can read and enjoy.
