With ears as large as Lil’ Snipps, he has no problem hearing all that goes on in Willow Hollow – as well as beyond! Thankfully there is no better secret keeper – no matter whether these secrets were given in confidence or overheard by a little elf’s oversized ears. And he's the first little elf all of the enchanted forest seek out when new rumors arise or there’s a new face among the village – not to mention, of course, all manner of elf romances. Lil’ Snipps makes for the best of friends – if you have a secret you desperately need to tell someone (we all know how hard it is to have a secret no one else knows!), he’s the elf for you!

Lil' Snipps Description

Watch what you say when Lil Snipps is anywhere near - he has overly large elfkin ears and hears all! It would seem as though his ears, and nose, may have outgrown him just a little but that’s what elves are all about! Lil Snipps has blue glass eyes, plenty of laugh lines (along with age lines!) and snowy white hair and eyebrows created from wool fleece. His hair is thinning yet Lil Snipps doesn’t fret - he believes it looks rather dashing! Lil Snipps is approximately 5” tall (when seated) and is hand sculpted entirely from polymer clay. He is a one-of-a-kind as no molds are ever used when creating Lil Darlin's. After his initial baking his skin is given a rosy hue with oil paints, then, with a dark acrylic paint, his head, hands, legs and feet are given a wash resulting in a more realistic look not to mention the details this wash brings to the surface. His clothing is created from thinly rolled clay draped and layered around his body leaving his feet, legs and hands exposed showing features such as fingernails, toenails, his knobby, yet cute, little knees and bare feet (elves are notorious for running around bare foot!). Lil Snipps is accompanied not only by his small, weathered, white bench, but also a fashionably designed, printed story card measuring 5 1/2” by 4 1/4”, describing Lil Snipps and his special talents he is so well known for in the small, enchanted forests of Willow Hollow. Along with this card is a small, wooden card holder allowing for the convenient display of his story, where all can read and enjoy his tale, no matter where Lil Snipps is setting for a spell.
