I’m quite a good listener – hardly ever interrupting and always smiling (both in happiness and sympathy – whichever is needed!). You can tell me your deepest, darkest secrets – I would never tell a soul! I’ll understand completely when you fall off the diet for that most necessary piece of chocolate, empathize wholeheartedly when your significant other just doesn’t understand you and will take your side in all matters concerning alleged driving habits.

Morty's Description

Morty’s the kind of friend we can all use! Never criticizes, always sympathetic to our plight, agreeing with you over all others – no matter the circumstance! Small in stature – 6” tall, 6” wide and 6 ½” deep – little Morty is very big hearted. A full sculpt, Morty is a one-of-a-kind, clay creation from the enchanted forest of Willow Hollow. No molds are ever used during the creation of these enchanted forest creatures and none made of the original afterwards. Once his head, hands and feet/legs are given their initial baking, they are painted with acrylic and oil paints, giving him his rosy hue, not to mention allowing his many fine details to show to their best advantage! Blue painted eyes, rather substantial elfkin ears and an open, smiling mouth greet everyone he meets. His robes are created from thinly rolled colored clay, rebaked, after which graying hair and eyebrows are then attached. He is then permanently affixed to his small piece of driftwood which has been decorated with latex flowers and leaves along with reindeer moss.
An appropriately fashioned, 5 ½” by 4 ¼” story card listing Morty’s extensive listening abilities, is accompanied by a small, wooden card holder to display his tale for all to enjoy.
As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.
