Spending time with humans is not normally something elves do, but then Tick is not your normal elf – as if there were such a thing as a normal elf! He’s quite the little trickster, constantly playing jokes on his friends (and foes alike!) along with all the other forest creatures. Playfully pulling pranks and hijinks on one and all, he has found that humans are a much better target for his playful teasing. Though he’s truly loved by all of Willow Hollow – you would be hard pressed to find a nicer elf! – he’s also very well known which has made it much harder to catch his fellow elves unaware. So, beware, for Tick is faster than the eye and you will truly be caught in one of his pranks sooner or later!

Tick's Description

Tick, who sits approximately 5” tall, is quite the tiny jokester! Sitting on his twig like, metal chair, he loves to tell jokes and make people smile. Tick is sculpted entirely of polymer clay and is a one-of-a-kind, as are all Willow Hollows inhabitants (no molds are ever used). He has blue glass eyes, shocking white, wool fleece hair and eyebrows, large, pointy elf ears, an engaging little smile, and it seems we’ve even caught him winking (due to one of his many jokes no doubt). After his head, hands, legs and feet are given their first baking, he is given a rosy glow with oil paints, followed by a wash of a dark acrylic paint to bring his many details to the surface. These include all his little laugh and life lines (some surely caused by all that winking), fingernails and toenails. His robes are created from thinly rolled clay, draped and layered around his little body, after which he is given a final baking. Lastly, he is permanently attached to his tiny chair. Life in a whimsical forest can be quite entertaining and Tick’s spirit is no less so. His one-of-a-kind tale is printed on a 5 1/2” by 4 1/4”, appropriately designed story card and for convenience of display, a small wooden card holder is included.
