Love is in the air and not even the inhabitants of Willow Hollow can escape the inevitable. Toshy is embarking on a long and oftimes perilous journey to the secret and secluded little fairy ring of Wippenspool in the hopes of obtaining…what else but fairy dust! Not an easy task (not to mention the many dangers involved) but one well worth the effort. It's the most prized and romantic gift of love an elf can give to a cherished one! It will insure a long and fruitful life together. And, as any elf will tell you, 'being surrounded by lots of little elfkins makes for a happy home indeed!'

Toshy's Description

Being 7” tall and standing on his own, Toshy is an impish little elf from the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow. He’s in love and on a very important mission - obtaining fairy dust no less! Toshy is entirely hand sculpted from polymer clay and is, of course, a one-of-a-kind (no molds are ever used in the creation of Lil Darlin’s!). From his tiny bald head, hand painted blue eyes, open, smiling mouth (revealing his teeth of course), cute little nose and somewhat large elfkin ears, all the way down to his tiny bare feet, showing all their little bare feet detail (including toenails), Toshy is sweet indeed! Once his head, hands and feet have been sculpted and given their first baking, they are painted with oil paints giving him his rosy hue, followed by a wash of a dark acrylic paint to bring all his many details to life. Toshy’s robes are created from thinly rolled clay draped and layered around his tiny body which is then baked a final time. Since Toshy is on a mission of gathering the famed fairy dust, he comes complete with a small, rusted, square pail with handle (unfortunately not pictured!) to do the job. A one-of-a-kind tale of Toshy’s life in these whimsical forests is also included, printed on a 5 1/2” by 4 1/4” appropriately designed story card, along with a small, wooden card holder making display ever so easy.
As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.
