Hidden deep in the forest lies the quiet little village of Willow Hollow. It is here where you can always find the happy and enchanting little characters known as Lil Darlins'. Meet William. William is, quite appropriately, the village elder and story teller, having been around for more years than anyone can remember, even William himself! He's full of folklore, legends and village traditions. Unfortunately, William's memory isn't as good as it once was. At times he'll forget where he's going or where he's just been. On occasion he has even forgotten his way home! And just now, he's forgotten what he was saying! But, not to fear, William has hundreds of journals containing all of his tales...now if he can just remember where he put them!

William's Description

William is one of many little elves found in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow. Standing approximately 7 1/2” tall, William is hand sculpted entirely of polymer clay, and since no molds are ever used with the creation of Lil Darlin's, he is a one-of-a-kind. After his initial firing, William’s skin is given a rosy hue with oil paints along with a wash of acrylic paint to highlight his many wrinkles and other details. William has hand painted blue eyes, high cheekbones, a rather substantial nose and a full head of hair along with eyebrows, made of 100% wool fleece (at his age it’s no wonder it’s completely white!). William’s robes are created from thinly rolled clay, draped and layered around his body leaving his hands and bare feet exposed (the better to see his fingernails and toenails!). While he stands alone, he never-the-less carries his walking stick with him at all times - afterall, elves are always on the go and William is nothing if not prepared. A 5 1/2” by 4 1/4” appropriately fashioned, printed story card depicting his life in the whimsical forest, along with a small wooden card holder (allowing for easy display), will accompany William so all can enjoy reading his personal tale.
