My love
for bags and purses has energized me to create a line of original design
(some being one-of-a-kind) bags, purses and totes.
Using fabrics rich in textures and colors, my fabric
purses are created for everyday use - most are created with .
using recycled, 100% wool
sweaters, that I have machine felted, giving these accessories strength
as well as a unique style, and.
After choosing the sweater for the creation of
the purse, as
well as the fabrics for the lining of each, a design is then roughly
drawn to help with the cutting of each needed piece. Following the
machine felting of the chosen sweater, it is then cut apart and ready to
be transformed into an accessory that is not only beautiful, but highly
functional and always practical. Each bag is fully lined and has two interior pockets – always an important design detail. Most bags
and purses come
with either a magnetic or button and flap closure, and are each given a name,
admittedly odd, but fun! Some bags come with exterior pockets as well. These bags, purses and totes are created always
with a high degree of quality in mind.
