A Bare-Foot Santa Elf

Especially busy this time of year, little Elfie takes a moment to show off his most recent creation. A rather sweet and endearing little elf, not to mention quite creative, Elfie does tend to lose his way now and again – he so enjoys wandering around visiting quite a bit more than is the norm, even for one of Santa’s elves! This has prompted his fellow elfs to whittle a little stocking with his name painted on it which is kept on the back of his chair, helping Elfie to find his place after a long day spent frolicking through Santa’s workshop (don’t let Elfie’s innocent looks fool you – he is quite the little frolicker!).
Elfie (16” seated, 20”standing) has warm, brown, glass eyes, a few tufts of white, curly, mohair locks peeking out from under his soft, red, chenille hat along with quite distinctive elfin ears. Wearing pants of the same red chenille, gathered at the ankles, a white knit pullover and an apron of soft leather which holds his ever present hammer and saw, little Elfie sits on his wooden chair preparing to create once again.
This piece has hand sculpted head, hands and signature little bare feet that have been baked, painted and attached to a softly padded wire armature body, making it posable to a small degree.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-Of-A-Kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Elfie and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1 and comes with a signed, Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
