Letters To Santa
A Lil Darlin' Original Bare-Foot Santa

Reading letters from children everywhere and checking these against his list of good boys & girls is a task Santa takes very seriously! And where better to enjoy this labor of love than seated on his padded, rocking, bench. Looks like there are plenty of little ones that have been on their best behavior this year which means Santa and his little elves will be extra busy in the workshop. While Santa does enjoy hearing from one and all it does take up so much of his time…why Mrs. Claus rarely has a chance to spend even a moment with Santa these days! She doesn’t complain though, after Christmas he will be all hers once more…which is when she remembers how much she loves Christmas!
Little Santa (16” seated, 20 ½” standing) has twinkling blue, glass eyes set in a hand crafted face framed with plenty of curly mohair. He’s dressed in a heavy chenille hooded coat, fully lined and tied with black twisted cording and matching pants, both of which are trimmed in black braid.
Under his coat he wears a white, knit pullover, tucked into his pants and gathered at the wrists which helps to keep Santa snug and warm. Being a One-Of-A-Kind, Santas his head, hands and little signature bare feet have been hand sculpted from polymer clay, baked, painted and attached to a padded, wire armature body that allows for limited posing.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-Of-A-Kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Letters To Santa and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1 and comes with a signed, Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
