Artimis's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
It's the rare occasion that Artimis makes a public appearance! He's very shy, preferring to spend his time in his comfortably appointed, abandoned gofer hollow where his close friends visit almost daily. About the only time he comes out is when he is in need of restocking his quantities of herbs and roots he finds throughout the forest. You see, Artimis is also the village healer and his potions are widely known for curing everything that ails - not to mention his romantic elixirs!
(It's rumored he is the cause of more than one incident of love at first sight!)

Artimis Description
Being the village healer is quite a job in this small village of Willow Hollow. But Artimis wouldn’t have it any other way. He does so love making up potions! Little Artimis stands a whopping 6 ½” tall (taller if measuring to the top of his wildly flowing hair), 4” wide and 4 ½” deep and carries a 5” long shovel with him everywhere he goes, along with a small 3 ¼” tall twig basket to carry all of his enchanted forest finds. Artimis is, as are many of the Lil Darlin’s of Willow Hollow, a one-of-a-kind, stand alone, full sculpt piece. No molds are ever used during their creation and none made of the original afterwards. After the initial sculpt of his head, hands and feet/legs, he is baked, then given a rosy glow with oil paints followed by a wash of a dark acrylic paint to enhance his many fine details such as all those life and laugh lines. Once he’s dressed in his clay robes (created with thinly rolled colored clay) he is baked a final time. He is then given a full head of white wooly locks along with a rather longer than usual goatee and eyebrows. A few of his other details include brown painted eyes along with detailed hands and feet showing his tiny fingernails and toenails. An appropriately fashioned, 5 ½” by 4 ¼” story card telling a bit about his life in Willow Hollow along with a small, wooden card holder to display his tale, sits along side of Artimis for all to enjoy and maybe lose themselves in his fantasy world for just a bit.
As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Artimis
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed and dated.
