Donnell's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
Taking his daily walk thru the village of Willow Hollow, little Donnell enjoys the company that crosses his path. He especially enjoys the animals with whom he converses, being one of the few around that is able to understand as well as communicate back to them. This has made him quite the popular little elf with all the forest creatures. It has also proven quite beneficial – providing needed transportation on the backs of friendly rabbits or squirrels, or even on the wings of a robin when the trek seems more than his own two feet can handle. You might look twice the next time you see a little rabbit hopping quickly thru your back yard – he just might have a little traveler on board!

Donnell Description
Donnell is quite the lover of tiny forest animals and at 7” tall he is small enough not to scare them off. Indeed, he is well known and loved by all manner of life found in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow. Donnell is a one-of-a-kind tiny elf (no molds are ever used!) sculpted entirely of polymer clay and stands alone. He has dark brown, hand painted eyes, gray, wool fleece hair and eyebrows (though he is balding somewhat) and oversized elfkin ears. You will find plenty of details in his contented little face - lots of laugh lines and, as we all no doubt eventually acquire, those ever present “life” lines. And don’t forget those cute little bare feet detail - all the way down to his toenails! After Donnell’s head, hands and feet are sculpted and baked, his skin is given color with oil paints followed by an overall wash with a dark acrylic paint to bring out his many details. His robes are fashioned from thinly rolled clay, draped and layered around his tiny body, then given a final baking. Donnell has quite the busy little life and his one-of-a-kind tale is printed on a 5 1/2” by 4 1/4”, appropriately designed story card, and for easy display, a small wooden card holder is included. As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Donnell
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed and dated.
