Maruice's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
Maurice was my first commission piece and my first little guy to have his story told. Unfortunately, I did not keep his story in my computer and, since they are all one-of-a-kind fables, therefore, I have forever lost his sweet little tale.

Maurice Description
Maurice is somewhat at a loss (yet again). He’s a rather unique angel elf who tries his very best, yet always seems to come up just a little bit short. On his way to earth for his most current mission his landing was a bit more “jarring” than planned and he has lost yet another feather from his dwindling angel wings - they are becoming somewhat sparse these days! Sitting approximately 3 1/2” tall, this one-of-a-kind little angel elf is entirely sculpted from polymer clay - molds are never allowed in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow afterall! Maurice has dark brown, painted eyes, a fuzzy head of white hair created from wool fleece, lots of smile lines, as well as life lines, a rosy hue by way of oil paints, and a slightly open mouth (as I said earlier, a rather jarring landing). His hands and feet also have plenty of details which include fingernails and toenails. Once his head, hands and feet are given their initial baking his body is then draped and layered with thinly rolled clay to create his robes. His feathers are then attached for his “angel look” and the one that came loose upon his decent ... well, he’s holding that and probably wondering just how he is expected to keep making his trips if he happens to lose too many more! Little Maurice comes with his own, one-of-a-kind tale printed on an appropriately designed story card. As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Maurice
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed and dated.
