Rudy's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
Bright and early each morning Rudy treks through the forest gathering the freshest flowers that can be found in the enchanted Willow Hollow surroundings. Upon his arrival back in the village all the inhabitants will gather around, anxious to pick their favorite flowers to brighten each little nook and cranny of their tiny dwellings - this being quite important since most dwell in tree stumps, hollowed out logs and abandoned rabbit hollows. Delivering his bounty, piled high in his sturdy wheelbarrow, Rudy enjoys the chance to visit with all his friends and fellow elfs.

Rudy Description
Sweet little Rudy, and quite the busy little elf indeed! Rudy stands alone at 7 1/2” tall and is entirely sculpted of polymer clay. Since no molds are ever used in the creation of Lil Darlin's, Rudy is a one-of-a-kind. He has a sweet little knowing smile, brown glass eyes, snow white, wool, fleece hair and eyebrows, over sized elfkin ears and nose, plenty of laugh, and life, lines in his wizened little face along with fingernails and toenails. Rudy’s hand sculpted head, hands and feet, after their initial baking, are given a rosy hue with oil paints, followed by a wash of a dark acrylic color allowing Rudy’s many details to come to life. His robes are created from thinly rolled clay, draped and layered about his body, leaving his hands and feet exposed. Rudy’s small, wooden wagon, filled with reindeer moss and plenty of latex, as well as silk flowers and leaves, is approximately 5 1/2” tall, 9 1/2” long and 5 1/4” wide. Also accompanying Rudy is an appropriately designed, one-of-a-kind printed story card, 5 1/2” by 4 1/4”, depicting his unique life in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow along with a wooden card holder.
As with all Lil Darlin's made entirely of clay, this piece is signed by the artist.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Rudy
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed and dated.
