Bart The Town Sherriff's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
Ole’ Barts been the sheriff in this here town now for goin’ on 20 years. Yep he’s seen his share of cattle rustlin’, saloon brawls and feuding neighbors. Known his share of bank robberies, train holdups and stage coach heists. But Bart loves his town and it’s people and wouldn’t leave it all for nothin’. Not to mention little Miss Maggie down at Blossom Junction. Now some might think that Miss Maggie’s house of lovely ladies is a dubious place of business, and the town’s more respectable females refuse to entertain Blossom Junctions female contemporaries but not Ole’ Bart (and not just a few cowboys from town and nearby parts). His heart is set on winning over Miss Maggie and, well who knows, maybe one day, wedding bells will be ringing. It’ll be quite a day indeed – the Sheriff and Miss Maggie gettin’ hitched with all those saintly towns folk lookin’ on…yep, quite a day indeed!

Bart The Town Sherriff's Description
Bart, sitting in his little wooden chair, measures 15 1/2" tall, standing he would be 20 1/2" (his chair is 7 3/4" tall x 5" wide x 5" deep). Relaxing for a bit, Bart holds the jail house keys, a cigarette and his rusty cup of "joe". He wears a black felt hat with a braided leather hat band, a black silk neckerchief, cream colored button up faux suede shirt tucked into a pair of tweed like cuffed pants. A matching, fully lined, vest with a rusty star (his sherriff's badge!) tops off his natty appearance. Bart's head, hands and little bare feet are hand sculpted from ProSculpt polymer clay, baked and painted with acrylics and oils for his realistic look, then attached to a padded, wire armature covered in a "knit" skin - leaving his posable to a small degree. What little hair he has left is of 100% wool, which includes his eyebrows, mustache and beard. His brown glass eyes are set in a craggy looking face with plenty of wrinkles - a sherriff's life is, after all, filled with plenty of stress!

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation
of Bart The Town Sherriff and none made of the original afterwards.
This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1 and comes with
a signed Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
