Cowboy Joe's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
Cowboy Joe and his faithful horse Buck are
headed out to do some ropin’. It’s brandin’ season after all and there’s
plenty of new calves this year. Bowlegged from all that time spent in
the saddle and all that white hair showing Cowboy Joes age to be sure,
he’s been ranching most all his life – wouldn’t have it any other way.
He gets a hankerin’ every now and then for those quiet evenings out on
the open range what with the cows mooing in the night, the soft
whinnying of horses, the camaraderie of his fellow cowboys sitting
around the campfire – of course that feeling begins to fade a bit when
remembering them pesky wolves and rather vexatious rattle snakes (woke
up more than one morning keeping warm along side a snake or two), not to
mention the questionable cooking skills of his “camp chef”. Cowboy Joe
has become somewhat spoiled what with the fine cuisine he enjoys back
home where his wife Miss Betty cooks up the best grub in the county (won
an award or two at local bake offs!). Hmmm...! Are these Miss
Betty's bloomers Joe's done found in amongst the haystacks?! She
does tend, every now and then, to leave hints about... Maybe it’s
best to stick around the homestead for a bit longer...

Cowboy Joe's
Description
Cowboy
Joe stands 17" tall. He is dressed in a white cotton, button up
shirt tucked into a pair of brown tweed pants - which show his bow-leggedness
quite well. With a kerchief tied around his neck, a brown leather
vest and his worn, dark brown leather hat, he's ready for a long day on
the trial. His head, hands and little bare feet are hand sculpted
from ProSculpt polymer clay, baked and painted with oils and acrylics to
give him a life-like appearance, then attached to a padded, wire
armature body - which gives him limited posing ability -
that is covered in a "knit" skin. His little balding head, as well
as his eyebrows and mustache, are of 100% white wool. Other
qualities Joe possess are his bright blue eyes, lots of lines and
creases on his range worn face and plenty of details in his hands and
signature little bare feet... Cowboy Joe holds his trusty rope and
a pair of bloomers - hopefully Betty's!
