Santa Claus

Santa has been oh so busy of late what with Christmas Eve fast approaching. It’s time to take a little rest in his fur covered twig rocker, and enjoy a little down time. Holding a newly crafted teddy bear destined for some lucky (not to mention ‘good’) child, Santa is looking forward to his upcoming journey. With the Christmas season being Santa’s favorite time of the year, understandably so, it can also be the most taxing, and sitting for a bit to quietly recharge is a must!
Dressed in traditional colors, Santa’s pants, fully lined coat (hanging on the back of his chair) and hat have been created from stretch red velvet with matching white trim. Red suspenders, crossed in the back, are attached with black buttons. His white knit pullover top, gathered at the wrists, help to keep Santa warm on those cold winter nights. Sitting by his side is a red velvet bag filled with potpourri, gathered and tied with black, stretch cording. Santa at 17” seated (21½” standing) has twinkling, blue, glass eyes, along with the requisite glasses (all those letters to read!!), all framed by his wavy, white, mohair beard, mustache, eyebrows and full head of hair. His head, hands and boots are hand sculpted of polymer clay and attached to a wire armature body covered in batting and a knit skin, all of which allows him a small amount of posing.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-Of-A-Kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Santa Claus and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1 and comes with a signed, Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
