In The Workshop
A BareFoot Santa Elf
SOLD

In The Workshop Description
Quite busy in Santa’s workshop,
this little BareFoot Santa Elf is holding his newest creation – a wooden
rocking horse some little boy or girl is eagerly awaiting Christmas
morning! While in the workshop this little fella wears his brown leather
apron with those ever important pockets to hold his many pencils, ruler,
hammer, scissors and screwdriver. His apron is crafted from soft, dark
brown leather tied in back while the upper portion is looped around his
neck and is attached with buttons. Under the apron he wears an off white
muslin, button up shirt (with red buttons) gathered at the wrists and
tucked into a pair of red velvet pants gathered at the ankles, leaving
his cute little feet bare, which of course, he is aptly named for. To
top it off he also wears a red velvet Santa hat with a rusty jingle bell
attached at the end. He sits 13 ¼” tall (16” tall standing) on a dark
brown, high backed chair (standing 10 ½” tall), that has been sanded to
give it an aged look.
Lil Darlin’ Originals Bare-Foot Santa Elf’s are always one-of-a-kind and
this little guy is no exception! No molds are ever used and none made of
the original afterwards. Hand sculpted of polymer clay (ProSculpt), the
head, hands and little bare-feet are painted with acrylic and oil paints
after baking to give them their life-like and detailed features. Once
these body parts are attached to a wire armature - padded with batting
to give this little Elf his jolly physique - this little Bare-Foot Santa
Elf can then enjoy the ability for limited posing.
Some of this little elf’s other features include blue glass eyes and
lots of wavy brown/black, 100% wool beard and eyebrows. He has lifelike
tiny fingernails along with toenails on those cute little bare feet
these Lil Darlin’s are known for. This little fella is signed and dated
by the artist on his back just under his shirt.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No
molds were used in the creation of In The Workshop
and none made of the
original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1.
Please note that Lil Darlin's Art Dolls are created as collectible
creations for adults only
and are not intended for children.
Please do not purchase them for children.
