Rockin' Santa's Story
A Lil Darlin' Original Art Doll
A short but well deserved rest, Santa sits for a bit in his favorite rocking chair. He knows it won’t be long before the elves find him once more with today’s batch of children’s letters, updated weather reports for his upcoming Christmas Eve travels, the ever present squabbles amongst elves in the Toy Shoppe (yes, even elves can get cranky!), not to mention the upcoming party preparations before the big day! Santa’s schedule is always non stop but Mrs. Claus is never far away, making sure he gets at least a few minutes of rest between all of the drama scenes that accompany each Christmas Eve! Santa, of course, wouldn’t have it any other way, as he finds all of his little elves the heart of the North Pole and, of course, he and Mrs. Claus’s family, to be sure!!

Rockin' Santa Description
Santa has one-of-a-kind hand sculpted head, hands and little bare feet of polymer clay, attached to a wire armature body covered in batting and knit “skin”. He sits in his wooden rocking chair and is posable to a small degree. Sitting 17”, 21 ½” if standing, he is dressed in his traditional Santa suit consisting of a white knit pullover tucked into a pair of red ultra suede pants with white fleece trim, held up with black suspenders of velvet cording. His matching hooded, fully lined coat hangs on the back of his rocking chair - all designed to keep him quite warm on his upcoming journeys. His green glass eyes rest in a face wrinkled with time yet still kindly. Framing his face is plenty of white, curly, 100% wool hair, beard, mustache and eyebrows.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Rockin' Santa
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1
and comes with a signed Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
