Woodland Santa Description
Appropriately dressed for his winter travels, this Bare-Foot Woodland Santa (approximately 16” seated and 21 ¼” standing) rests a bit in his twig rocker, padded in heavy red chenille fabric for just a bit more comfort. His white linen, button up shirt is tucked into a pair of warm, black pants and around his neck he wears a matching scarf for those extra cold nights! His hooded, fully lined coat is made from extra snuggly oatmeal colored berber with oversized patch pockets and tied about his waist with jute twine. There’s no way Santa will be cold in this outfit! Holding onto his wooden skis (12” tall), Santa prepares for his upcoming trip through the back country of which he does so enjoy. (He much prefers skis to his sled when given the chance!)
This Woodland Santa is an original, one-of-a-kind Lil Darlin’ Art Doll created from polymer clay, hand sculpted – no molds are ever used in the creation of Lil Darlin’s and none made of the original afterwards. His head, hands and feet - after sculpting, baking and painting with acrylics and oils - are attached to a padded, wire armature and covered in knit “skin” – all of which gives this piece the ability for limited posing. He has green glass eyes, a full head of white, 100% wool hair, with matching eyebrows, mustache and beard, along with a very expressive and detailed face. More detail can be found in his finely sculpted hands and signature little bare feet. This piece has been signed and dated by the artist for authenticity on his back, just under his shirt.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No molds were used in the creation of Woodland Santa
and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1.
