Sleeping Santa
A BareFoot Santa Description

It’s been a long Christmas season and Santa just couldn’t keep his eyes open a moment longer! He’s read more letters from more children than he can even count…with more yet to go! Sleeping Santa rests in an over stuffed flannel covered rocking chair that measures 13 ¼” tall, 11 ¾” wide and 9 ½” deep. The chair sports wooden rockers and the flannel of green stripes are offset by alternating cream colored ones decorated with moose and tree designs. Santa himself seated here is approximately 14 ¾” tall (standing he would be 17” tall). He’s dressed in his red and cream colored striped flannel top, gathered at the wrists, with matching red buttons down the front and his red knit pajama bottoms, gathered at the ankles. Holding a letter with two more in his lap from little children anxiously awaiting Christmas morning, he decides to push his glasses up for just a few precious moments of rest.
Lil Darlin’ Originals Bare-Foot Santa’s are always one-of-a-kind! No molds are ever used and none made of the original afterwards. Hand sculpted of polymer clay (ProSculpt), the head, hands and little bare-feet are painted with acrylic and oil paints after baking to give them their life-like and detailed features. Once these body parts are attached to a wire armature - padded with batting to give Santa his jolly physique of course - this little Bare-Foot Santa can then enjoy the ability for limited posing.
And what would Santa be without his thick, 100% wool fleece hair, beard, mustache and eyebrows! As this Santa comes from the BareFoot Santa Series, we get a chance to see Santa’s little bare feet – who knew Santa had such cute feet! Now this is one Santa who really looks relaxed…or is that total exhaustion? This Santa is signed and dated by the artist on his back just under his jammies!

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-Of-A-Kind. No molds were used in Sleeping Santa's creation and none made of the original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated for authenticity, numbered 1 of 1 and comes with a signed, Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
