Taking a bit of a break from hanging his tiny birdhouses, Poppy rests awhile in his most favorite of rocking chairs. He's been awfully busy of late building the many tiny houses needed - what with the ever increasing population of sweet sounding little birds - there's hardly ever time to, well..., do anything else!! But Poppy doesn't complain, afterall, waking to the happy chirping outside his window each and every morning (in an enchanted forest the birds never fly south for the winter) is worth all the long hours that's needed to accommodate Willow Hollows most charming and magical winged creatures.

Poppy's Description

Happy little Poppy does so enjoy life! Being 10 inches tall does not hinder his job of making and hanging the little bird houses that are ever so needed in Willow Hollows enchanted forest. Poppy is a one-of-a-kind little elf (no molds are ever used when creating Lil Darlins!) with head, hands and feet sculpted from polymer clay and a soft cloth body firmly stuffed with polyfil. His arms and legs are attached with button joints and his elbows and knees have hand sewn joints, giving him posing ability! Poppy’s green glass eyes, pointed ears (he is an elf afterall!), bald little head and open, smiling mouth - showing his tongue and teeth! - radiates such a feeling of happiness! With life like toenails (along with fingernails of course) it would just not do to put shoes on his little feet (besides, most elves do not like the hindrance on their freedom of running throughout the enchanted forests encumbered by shoes). Poppy wears a dark brown cotton shirt and black silk pants wrapped and tied in a fiber yarn. Along with the small rustic birdhouse he is carrying (one of many built by his own hands!) Poppy comes with his favorite (albeit somewhat mossy - living in a forest will undoubtedly play havoc on furniture) twig rocking chair measuring approximately 8 1/2” tall and 6” wide. Poppy will also be accompanied with an appropriately designed 5 1/2” by 4 1/4” printed story card portraying his own personal tale of life in the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow, along with a small wooden card holder so it can be displayed with where ever Poppy is currently taking a well deserved break!
