He's a troll in the
true sense of the word. Fierce looking he is and grumpy to
boot! Tager roams Willow Hollows enchanted forest instilling
fear in the hearts of all the forest creatures he
encounters. With his gruff and grim demeanor (Ok, he's not
so very pretty either) and the ominous threats he constantly
tosses about, all manner of life in the forest scatter when
Tager is spotted. Oh, but there are those who know that
Tager is far more bark than bite. Not one Willow Hollow
inhabitant can tell of a personal encounter yet they can all
retell tales they have heard since childhood of Tagers
terrible deeds on those unfortunate little elfs caught and
probably eaten by this most frightening troll! It's believed
by some that Tager himself is the fanciful creator of more
than most of these frightful tales - what better way to
enjoy a peaceful (albeit lonely!) existence in an enchanted
forest overflowing with all manner of bothersome little
elves!

Tager's Description
While elves abound in large numbers in
the enchanted forests of Willow Hollow we mustn’t forget about the
trolls that also dwell in these whimsical woods. Tager is one such
troll and at 10” tall (11” including his full head of hair!) he is
quite the intimidating fellow. With his quite unruly mass of woolly
locks in shades of browns and grays he also sports a long goatee of
the same shades. Tager’s head, hands and feet are sculpted of
polymer clay and he is, of course, one-of-a-kind as no molds are
ever used when creating Willow Hollows inhabitants. He has large,
brown glass eyes, oversized pointed ears (which makes it ever so
easy to ferret out those pesky little elves!) and a gruff and grim
demeanor. Tager can be somewhat intimidating to most forest
creatures! His soft cloth body is firmly stuffed with polyfil and
his legs and arm are attached with button joints as well as hand
sewn joints at elbows and knees. He wears a soft, red, micro suede
shirt and dark brown, soft leather pants gathered at the ankles. His
waist is encircled with a fiber sash and he always wears his
necklace of wooden beads (he prefers it be told these are really
beads fashioned from the bones of little elves most unfortunate to
have been caught by him). Among Tager’s many details are his
fingernails as well as toenails - not to mention those cute, tiny
bare feet (most whimsical forest creatures prefer to go about
barefooted as it is much quicker, not to mention quieter, for them
to maneuver about the forest grounds). As with all Willow Hollows
inhabitants, Tager will be accompanied with a 5 1/2” by 4 1/4”
printed story card portraying his own, one-of-a-kind tale of his
life in Willow Hollow. This card comes with a small wooden stand to
be displayed next to Tager where ever he chooses to reside and all
will know he is really not quite as scary as he wishes for all to
believe.
