Who Took Santa's
Suspenders?! Those impish little elves! Of course Santa should, by now, know better than to fall asleep in the workshop – this isn’t the first time he has been the recipient of his elves mischievous little practical jokes. Luckily Santa is quite a good sport about their hy-jinx and he’s not opposed to pulling a few capers of his own (though payback on this one might well surpass those previous!). Santa’s little elves are oh so full of mirth and merriment, and their exuberance and high spirited ways keep Santa’s workshop bustling with the flurry of excitement that only a workshop full of elves could possibly deliver. About those suspenders…not to worry, they’ll be returned in good time, just as soon as all have enjoyed the moment, including Mrs. Claus, who is presently being sought.
Santa’s coat and
fallen pants are of a soft faux, red suede with plenty of soft, white,
fleece trim. His fallen pants have three black buttons up the front
(which didn’t seem to halt the dropping process!). Above his knobby
little knees are his red knit boxers with white polka dots (Santa’s
favorite) and a white knit pullover. Santa’s surprised look includes
brown, glass eyes open mouth and a rather bulbous nose, all of which are
framed with plenty of softly curled, white mohair - beard, mustache and
full head of hair. His head, hands and boots are hand sculpted of
polymer clay, baked and attached to a softly padded, wire armature.
Poseable to a small degree, Santa, at 20” tall, stands
with the help of a doll stand, included.
As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-Of-A-Kind. No molds were
used in Who Took Santa's Suspenders?! creation and none made of the original afterwards. This piece
