Tippett - No Hands!
A Lil
Darlin' Original Art Doll
Tippett has always been a bit of a showoff, but then that does come
ever so natural to little elfs after-all … to the dismay of their poor
mothers I’ve no doubt! But have no fear as elfs are so very resilient
and, though Tippetts had his fair share of bumps and bruises, nothing
seems to keep him still for very long. This day is no exception as
Tippett dashes through the narrow lanes of Willow Hollow, scattering not
just a few elfs in his path while flaunting his “no hands” mastery of
bike riding skills – at least this time he has his eyes open!

Tippett's
Description
Tippett is a typical happy go lucky elf and one look at his smiling face
shows just how much fun he is having! Sitting atop his bike at 15” tall,
Tippett is 14 ˝” standing. He is dressed in his favorite brown wool
pants – with hand sewn patches in several places – held up with a pair
of black and tan, checked suspenders attached in front, and back, with
small black buttons. A black, long sleeved shirt with tiny tan polka
dots, gathered at the wrists, is topped off with a black suede scarf
which helps to keep Tippett warm, along with his recycled brown knit
stocking hat with attached jingle bell. This little fella is decked out
to impress!
And Tippett loves his three wheeler! This metal bike stands 9” tall and
is 5 ˝” wide with a wooden seat. One large front wheel along with two
smaller ones in back keeps this bike free standing. There’s a small
metal basket like front holder that is currently occupied with a large
silk flower. Tippett has typical little pointy elf ears, brown glass
eyes, a tipped up nose along with a sweet little smile, showing off his
rather fetching dimples. Hand sculpted from ProSculpt, a polymer clay,
his head, hands and little bare feet are then baked, after which acrylic
and oil paints are applied giving him a very realistic skin tone. While
there are plenty of details in his face don’t overlook his hands and
feet! Among their characteristics are life like fingernails and
toenails. His clay parts are securely attached to a body that consists
of a wire armature, padded with batting and covered with a "knit skin",
which allows for a small amount of posing.

As with all Lil Darlin’ Art Dolls, this is a One-of-A-kind piece. No
molds were used in the creation of Tippett
and none made of the
original afterwards. This piece has been signed, dated, numbered 1 of 1
and comes with a signed Photo Certificate of Authenticity.
